The OSU Writing Center provides one-on-one assistance to writers of all experience levels, from undergraduate and graduate students to faculty and staff. We can help writers with any type of writing project, from essays and reports to personal statements and even creative pieces, at any stage of the writing process. Whether you are putting the finishing touches on a final draft or just trying to determine where to start, our writing consultants can help. We also offer evening consultations at the Writing Center Outpost, located in Edmon Low Library.
In addition to one-on-one consultations with our writing consultants, the Writing Center also provides the following services free of charge to all members of the OSU community:
- English as a Second Language conversation groups to help ESL clients improve their English-speaking skills;
- Writer’s Hotline (744-6671 or writingcenter@okstate.edu) to answer quick writing questions that do not require a 50-minute consultation;
- In-class presentations and workshops on a variety of writing-related topics;
- Reference materials and laptop checkout for instructors.
