BA Overview

A Bachelor's Degree in English with a major in Technical Writing will prepare you for a career in technical communication as a technical writer and editor. It will also provide you with a foundation to pursue graduate work in technical communication.

BA Admission

To be admitted to the undergraduate program, you need only 15 hours of coursework. After that, you should notify the Student Services Office and English Department that you are declaring a Technical Writing Option to the BA in English. There are no other prerequisites.
