membership Classic
membership Limited membership Limited memberships are a "limited" version of the classic membership. Limited membership still includes voting privileges and versions of Intercom and Technical Communication, but this level does not include chapter or SIG membership. Cost of joining is $140 ($125.00 dues plus $15.00 enrollment fee). Annual dues for full membership are $125. E-membership E-memberships provides voting privileges, online versions of Intercom and Technical Communication and includes membership in one chapter and one SIG. of membership Technical CommunicationThe Society's award-winning journal, which publishes articles about the practical application of technical communication theory and serves as a common arena for discussion by practitioners. Technical Communication focuses on both quantitative and qualitative research while showcasing the work of some of the field's most noteworthy writers. Technical Communication is published quarterly. Chapter ActivitiesRegularly scheduled chapter meetings allow technical communicators to exchange ideas with peers and participate in practical, job-related programs. Access to STC's Job DatabaseSTC's job database contains thousands of current job openings specifically geared toward the technical communication field. STC Annual ConferenceSTC's annual conference is the largest conference in the world that focuses on the arts and sciences of technical communication. The conference includes more than 250 educational presentations.
