This will be a day for fun in the sun and the shade. The area has access to bike trails, the lake for fishing and swimming, and some picnic/grilling areas. The plan is to do a late potluck lunch around 1ish [bring anything you want to grill and a side to share] and then just be lazy around the lake playing games and socializing for the rest of the afternoon.

Faculty and Staff are invited to join us for the evening meal [again bring your main course and something to share, leftovers are fine if you brought something for lunch!] around 5 and there will be s'mores for eating when the sun finally goes down. As always this is a laid back come and go event, so come and join us whenever you can in the day!

DIRECTIONS: Go west on Hwy 51 (6th Ave) to Redland Road and turn RIGHT. Following the signs for McMurtry turn LEFT on Airport Road. Turn RIGHT at the Lake McMurtry entrance. Follow that road through a few curves but essentially straight on to where you will see a Lake McMurtry Headquarters building (You can pay your $3.00 here if the building is open and you don't have exact change). Turn LEFT at the Headquarters crossroads (toward the West Boat Dock). EGSA will be set up in the tent camping area on the left side of the road. You can park and pay at the tent camping site as well.
