Technical Writing at OSUOSU's Technical
Writing Program is one of the leading academic programs for technical writing
and communication. We train top-notch researchers and advanced practitioners in
the field of technical communication, using the most up-to-date tools, methodologies,
and theories. At the same time, our students learn skills in rhetorical analysis
and critical thinking that are crucial to their professional success as technical
communicators, high-level managers, and academics. Our program is committed
to providing students the skills and tools they need to shape high-level technology
and information for the needs of users. To meet this commitment, our comprehensive
program offers BA, MA, and PhD degrees in English with a specialization in technical
writing. We also meet the individual needs of our students by offering coursework,
individual study, internships (need an intern?),
and teaching and research assistantships.
