Kara Cook

A double major in English and Political Science, Kara Cook graduated from Oklahoma State in spring 2006, a few months after she was named the University’s first recipient of a Mitchell Scholarship. While an undergraduate, she served as Senate Chair for the Student Government Association and as President of ECO-OSU and was selected Gonfalonier of the College of Arts & Sciences. With the support provided by the Mitchell, Kara completed an M. A. in Anglo-Irish Literature at University College Dublin, earning First Degree Honors. Currently, she is spending a year in China, teaching English at Chongqing University and working as an intern for the World Wildlife Federation..
