Scholarly Publications Affiliated with OSUAmerican Indian QuarterlyEdited by Amanda Cobb, American Indian Quarterly has earned its reputation as one of the dominant journals in American Indian studies by presenting the best and most thought-provoking scholarship in the field. AIQ is a forum for diverse voices and perspectives spanning a variety of academic disciplines. The common thread is AIQ’s commitment to publishing work that contributes to the development of American Indian studies as a field and to the sovereignty and continuance of American Indian nations and cultures. In addition to peer-reviewed articles, AIQ features reviews of books, films, and exhibits. Literature in the Early American Republic: Annual Studies on Cooper and his ContemporariesEdited by Jeffrey Walker and Matthew Wynn Sivils (Westminster College), LEAR welcomes a wide range of submissions on the literary culture of the United States from roughly 1787-1851. Articles dealing with the work and influence of James Fenimore Cooper are especially welcome. Milton QuarterlyEdited by Edward Jones, Milton Quarterly publishes in-depth articles, review essays, and shorter notes and notices about Milton's works, career, literary surroundings, and place in cultural history. In striving to be the most reliable and up-to-date source of information about John Milton, it also furnishes reports on conferences, abstracts of recent scholarship, and book reviews by prominent scholars in the field. While its scholarly standard for submissions is high, it insists upon accessibility from all contributors. Society of Early Americanists NewsletterEdited by Richard Frohock, The Society of Early Americanists Newsletter (SEAN) is published twice a year (Spring and Autumn) by the Society of Early Americanists. SEAN began in the summer of 1989, when William J. Scheick issued and edited volume I of the American Colonial Authors Society Newsletter. In 1992, upon the founding of the SEA, the newsletter was renamed The Society of Early Americanists Newsletter, with William J. Scheick continuing to serve as editor for volumes 4.2-18.1 (1992 -2006). The Newsletter typically contains information for SEA members such as letters from the SEA’s executive officers, information on conferences of interest to the society’s membership, and a review essay summarizing recent books and articles in Early American Studies.
