Morrill 303

Morrill 303 is one of two "Film Rooms" in Morrill Hall. 303 is shared with the University, so classes other than English are scheduled there on occasion, but the room can still be booked through the English Department front office in 205 Morrill, by calling 405-744-9474, or by emailing english.information@okstate.edu

303 features sloped floors, a large projector screen, and blackout shades, which give it a movie-theatre atmosphere.

303 has DVD, VHS, LaserDisc, and stereo capabilities, which are all controlled by a convenient touch-screen next to the equipment.

There are also hook-ups in 303 which make it possible to connect a laptop to the overhead projector. Laptops are also available for check-out through the English Department front office.

For new users, the room does include step-by-step instructions for using the technology.

If you are interested in showing a video, the english department has an extensive film library. Browse the films and request to check them out at the Online Film Catalog. These films are limited to members of the English Department.

Users of 303 are reminded that they need to reserve the room and pick up the key in 205 Morrill before using the room.

When users are finished using 303, they need to turn off all equipment and the projector and lock the door.
