Morrill 112Morrill 112 is an English-Department owned classroom. It features tables and chairs that are set-up in a circle formation. 112 also has a cabinet which charges and contains 21 laptops. This makes it possible for students to work on computer projects while in class. There are additional laptops available if requested. The laptop cabinet is portable, which makes it possible for instructors to take the laptops to their own classroom if they do not wish to use 112, or if there is another instructor using 112 but not using the laptops. The laptops in 112 have wireless internet capability and are equipped with Microsoft Office 2007. If you are familiar only with Office 2003, it's worth familiarizing yourself with the 2007 version, since it does differ somewhat.
Users of 112 are reminded that the room is kept locked and they must pick up a key from 205 in order to open the door. Also, users are reminded that the laptops need to remain plugged into the cabinet after use, and the cabinet must remain plugged in to the wall.
