The Sandra Drew Undergraduate Scholarship in English Studies

Any undergraduate English major who will have completed between 90 and 115 hours by the end of the current semester and is attending OSU may apply for this scholarship.

The scholarship, in the amount of $300, is derived from the income of an endowment made possible by royalties, memorial gifts, faculty contributions, book sales, etc. Announcement of the winner will be posted in January.

Selection of scholarship winners will be based on the following criteria:

Academic achievement as evidenced by (a) grade point average in major and overall; (b) faculty recommendation.
Participation in Departmental activities.
Service to the Department.

Please attach an unofficial copy of your grade report and a writing sample to this form. Grade reports are available online through SIS. Also have two letters of recommendation from faculty members in the English Department submitted to JuDean Scott by the deadline.
