Marianne Moore

Linda Leavell, associate professor of literature and author of Marianne Moore and Visual Arts: Prismatic Color, has recently received grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the American Philosophical Society, and the Oklahoma Humanities Council in support of her work on a biography of Marianne Moore. Dr. Leavell is spending the 1999-2000 academic year in Philadelphia, doing research for this project.
