Current Research & Projects

I have published a collection of my essays on cross-cultural communication and am now preparing two other book proposals (a revision of my technical report writing textbook and a book on communication theory as it applies to technical communication). I also do book reviews for Technical Communication: The Journal of the Society for Technical Communication. Each spring, I am a guest professor at the University of Paderborn teaching German graduate and undergraduate students about communicating technical information to American audiences in both written and oral form. During this time, I frequently deliver invited lectures to other schools in Europe that offer degree work in technical communication.
