Film & History: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Film and Television Studies

In 1994, John O'Connor passed along the editorship of Film & History to me and I have been working ever since to make the journal a real presence in media studies. We are always looking for new reviewers of books and films, so feel free to contact me after looking at our web site, listed below. Film & History has sessions at each annual American Historical Association meeting and meets concurrently with the national PCA/ACA meetings where we conduct at least one workshop on film language. Our panels with Oliver Stone, Garry Wills, Michael Medved,

George McGovern, Arthur Schlesinger, Jr, and Ken Burns have been broadcast by C-SPAN; the NYC session with Oliver Stone drew 1500 people to two ballrooms at the AHA meeting!
