TESL/Linguistics
"The training in TESOL and Linguistics offered at OSU is remarkable, and it benefited me greatly. The courses in applied linguistics and TESOL have provided me with a solid background upon which I can build a career as an instructor and a researcher. Indeed, the six years of teaching at OSU have greatly contributed to my becoming a more fulfilled teacher, helping me develop the skills needed to teach students coming form diverse linguistic, ethnic, and/or cultural backgrounds. As a member of the team of curriculum designers in OSU's TESL Program, I acquired skills that helped me contribute significantly to the designing and establishing of an MA Program in ESL and Applied Linguistics at Winston-Salem State University, where I am currently employed.
